Old Mill Stucco Premium White is a high quality felt-marked uncoated paper and board, made with environment-friendly pulp. Our special ‘stucco’ treatment delivers the sharp, bright printed result of a coated paper, while retaining the uncoated appeal. Ideal for deluxe publications and editions, commercial printing, as well as institutional brochures, annual reports and monographs.

Can be used without problems with the main printing systems: letterpress, offset, blind embossing, hot foil stamping, thermography and screen printing. Ideal for use with oxidative drying inks due to the macro-porous surface of the paper. The chromatic and tone performance is good: the ink load, dot gain and the print contrast are at the best levels attainable from uncoated paper.

Varnishing and plastic laminating must be assessed in advance. The varnishing, coated with an offset machine, is almost fully absorbed and therefore does not improve gloss or protection. Screen-printing varnishing achieves better results, although it is often necessary to perform two shots to achieve a distinctly evident result. The surface roughness, typical of felt-marked papers, may give rise to micro defects with plastic laminating caused by incomplete adhesion of the film to the substrate. Good results with major processing operations such as cutting, die-cutting, scoring, folding and gluing.
