Sirio White/White is distinguished by a high degree of whiteness, a particularly smooth surface and great rigidity and strength, making it the perfect canvas for reproducing all shades of colour.

Some of the heavier weights, from 200-400gsm, are wet laminated on the paper machine, with the exception of 700gsm, which is laminated off-machine. Sirio White/White is extremely versatile and is ideal for packaging, coordinated graphics, covers, inserts, catalogues, tags and luxury brochures.

The paper is suitable with the main printing systems: letterpress, offset, blind embossing, hot foil stamping, thermography and screen printing. Sirio White/White’s macro-porous surface allows for the use of semi-oxidative and oxidative drying inks. The varnish, coated with an offset machine, is almost fully absorbed and therefore it does not improve gloss or protection. Better results can be obtained with acrylic and UV offset varnish or screen-printing varnish, although it is often necessary to perform two shots to achieve a distinctly evident result. The surface roughness, typical of uncoated papers, may give rise to micro defects with plastic laminating caused by incomplete adhesion of the film to the substrate. Good results are achieved with the key processing operations, such as cutting, die-cutting, scoring, folding and gluing.
